Katie Price opened up about her miscarriage and recent man troubles in an ITV interview with Piers Morgan.
Reality TV star and glamour model Katie Price (aka Jordan) sat down for a lengthy interview with Piers Morgan recently and revealed the details of a miscarriage she had a few weeks before breaking up with Aussie singer, Peter Andre.
10 weeks into her pregnancy, a routine visit to her doctor revealed that her baby’s heart had stopped beating.
“(The doctor) was poking the thing around on my belly and it was moving, and he said that he can’t see a heartbeat but he said, ‘Let me check, so let me do some bloods (blood tests).’”
The doctor performed tests which indicated the fetus was still developing, but Katie went back to the hospital three days later so the doctor could check on the baby’s heart beat again. Katie said:
“I went in thinking, ‘He’s going to be great, he’s going to see a heartbeat.’ And it was on the screen and you know they poke the thing around, he said, ‘No it’s, it’s died, it’s gone.’”
When speaking of the breakup of her marriage, she ranted about how it was all her ex’s fault, saying that she was in love with Andre and that never in a million years did she think they would have split. But a publicist for Andre has a different story:
“It was Peter’s child as well and Peter is devastated and deeply disappointed that Kate has chosen to speak out about this and their marriage. It is a private matter.”
